Every product of the BioGuarde Product Range was developed to increase the efficiency of the Biological Wastewater Treatment offering the appropriate product for each certain purpose. All BioGuardes are botanical extracts based on the Cozymase Technology, the components of the products are co-enzymes, co-factors, natural growth stimulating factors, essential natural nutrients for microbial life and vitamins. They contain all compounds which are needed for the bacteria in the activated sludge and the enzymes secreted by the bacteria to operate on a high energy level. The key of the products' action is to strengthen the existing activated sludge without introducing bacteria or enzymes into the system however some products (e.g. Ammonia Guarde, BioGuarde I-II./ contains some strains of bacteria in a small number, in order to reach the best effect.

BioGuarde II clarifies the primary & secondary clarifiers of Wastewater Treatment Plants, besides it has the benefit to break down grease in large grease traps and reduce odors. BioGuarde II also diminishes grease in lifting stations, and underground pipes. The Nocardia Supplement in the product is responsible for Nocardia reduction.

SOS 5300 Hydrocarbon is an all natural botanically blended Enzymatic system which is coupled with 12 strains of microbes which accelerates the digestion of Hydrocarbon in soil and water applications. Live Enzyme systems catalyze the cleavage and further digestion of the Hydrocarbons into Carbon Dioxide and water. The function of the microbes is to continually produce more Enzymes to attack the Hydrocarbons in the system.

The unique characteristic of our microbial blend is the ability to adapt to the changing distribution of hydrocarbon byproducts, and produce more of the enzymes needed to digest that particular type of chemical. C-5 Odor Neutralizer is an all natural botanical blend which is formulated to digest the odor causing compounds generated from the decomposition of organic materials. The odor producing compounds are organic compounds containing Sulphur or Nitrogen functionality. Some of these compounds include the Mercaptan family of compounds which are Sulphur based. The Amino functional Hydrocarbons of low molecular weight also create some petrifying malodors. These compounds are produced when the bacteria digest the organic proteins in an anaerobic environment. This causes the bacteria to pull off the Oxygen atoms on the Amino acids of the protein causing the production of Sulphides, Mercaptans & Amino Hydrocarbons.

C-5 Odor Neutralizer changes the environment to digest the proteins and fats down another biochemical pathway that do not produce the reduction byproducts which cause odor production. Any Ammonia or Hydrogen Sulphide present in the system are digested by the live Cozymase System which uses these compounds as fuel for their cellular functions.

The filled pit latrine will have to be abandoned clearly this is not sustainable.
